spectral analysis for discontinuous time series data

HI everyone
I am having discontinuous time series data.like I have 3 years of current data but for some issues the ADCP sensor was not worked for 2 months..
So I want to know spectral analysis for entire three years.
can anybody help me out..???

You have a couple options:
1.) You can interpolate the missing data and obtain interpolated values for the missing data.
2.) You can use something like the Lomb-Scargle periodogram:
