More eye-catching dialog box

I'm trying to make some kind of pop-up dialog box that will catch the operator's attention when the end of some particularily long code is reached. Something like running "dialog('Color','r')" is noticable enough, but id like to have a message similar to "helpdlg". Are you able to change the size and color of helpdlg, or add a message to dialog? Thanks

Hi Peter,

Maybe you already know, so please read the following if it brings in new info to you.

An example;

h = helpdlg('This is a help string','My Help Dialog');set(h,'Color','r')

You can say

get(h)

to see the list of modifiable properties, but you can use get(h) IF you have NOT pressed OK and closed the dialog.

Best.

Hi Sadik,

That works perfectly, thank you! I didn't realize you could set the color for a dialog box using the handle in that way. Thanks
