Infrared refers to the wavelength (some would say frequency) of the light that is captured. An ordinary camera captures light in the visible spectrum 0.3-0.7 micrometer. IR cameras capture light at longer wavelengths. You CANNOT convert the frequency of light during post-processing. You can change the color map of your video frames and give it an infrared “feel” but that would be something completely different.
