Subject: A technical problem about comet From: Gurcan Date: 22 Jul, 2011 19:19:09 Message: 1 of 4 Excuse me, I have a problem with the "comet" order. When i draw the graph with the help of the "comet" and "grid" order, I could not see the graph. If I dont use the "grid" eveything is ok. But when I use the "grid", the lines in the graph disseppear. How can draw a gridded graph with the "comet" order? Thanks for your help.

While the line is still visible, the figure has no information about it. Therefore, if you cause an update to the figure (like by adding a grid) the line is not redrawn. Is not there a solution for this? "Richard Ellis" wrote in message ... > plot(t,tan(sin(t))-sin(tan(t)),'r') > grid on > > Note that comet erases the line using EraseMode = none. Two that I can think of off the top of my head: Turn the grid on first, then use COMET. Use COMET to display the animated graph, then once that's complete PLOT the whole line again and then turn the grid on. -- Steve Lord slord@mathworks.com To contact Technical Support use the Contact Us link on http://www.mathworks.com
