I have been looking at this more and I changed the names of the two tables inside the Pxy_db.accdb that comes with your program (which I already change the name to chemical_info.accdb because in the Txy.m file the information is extracted from chemical info), those two tables are antoine_data and phyiscal_properties, and I didn't change the names before because it is just possible if I open the Pxy_db.accdb file from Matlab (with the option Open Outside MATLAB) and I didn't know that, but after I changed the names of the tables "antoine_data" and "phyiscal_properties" to "chemical_info" and "chemical_info_1", I run the program and It was the first and last time I saw some data in the listbox (I mean, the extraction of information from database was successful) because the next time I tried to execute the program but the program didn't run although I did the same process over again. With this I think is just problems with the names, I would like to know which names you use in the Database, the file *.accdb and in the tables inside *.accdb when you execute your program. Now instead of the error [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Access database engine cannot find I get this one [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Invalid string or buffer length. Hello David, I read your blog (Creating a Useful Database) but still I can't make it work. I have everything in x64 (Processor,Office,MATLAB, and Every single Driver, including AccessDatabaseEngine_x64). I THINK the problem is with the names of the database file, you give us the Pxy_db file (in the Txy_GUI.zip), but in the program (in Txy.m) you extract the information from chemical_info and chemical_info_1. Well I have done many things like change the name of the file and also of the Data Source Name to chemical_info, but still the program doesn't run giving me the error: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Access database engine cannot find
the input table or query 'chemical_info'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled
correctly. Would you care give me a suggestion? Thank you in advance
