MATLAB has a very powerful tool that can be used for teaching mathematics called the 'symbolic math engine toolbox , This m-file provides an example of how MATLAB can be very effectively used in deriving mathematical equations that describe the natural physical phenomena. It shows how MATLAB symbolic math engine toolbox functions and symbolic objects have been used to derive Newton's Equation of Motion :
2as = vf^2-vi^2
