Solutions of thermodynamic binding equilibria usually require a set of simplifying assumptions.
These two programs use a pattern search algorithm to directly solve two MWC equilibria which model the transcriptional regulatory behavior of the lac operon.
This approach should be applicable to other complex binding equilibria where assumption free solutions are desired.
This work is part of a pending publication with the author Sochor, MA.
The @DocPolynom library was initially found on the file exchange, however it appears to have been removed. I fixed a few errors I found and have included it here as it is necessary. My thanks to the original author, whom unfortunately, I cannot find.
