fig2evernote allows saving a figure as a PNG directly to the popular on-line notebook, Evernote, by simply pushing a button which is placed on every figure by default. Note title, text, notebook and tags can be specified through a simple GUI. There is no auto-complete of notebook or tags, like there is in the Evernote web clipper (though I would be interested if anyone has experience interfacing with the Evernote API).

The reason for creating this code was to make keeping an online labnotebook easier, by streamlining the process of getting plots into Evernote.

Please look at the README, as you must specify your Evernote email address to send notes to in the code itself, and you must setup in MATLAB your sending email address and SMTP mail server, if these are not already specified.

This has only been tested on Red Hat, but should be cross-platform compatible.
