Microstrip Filter Design

An aid program to design an nth order LC circuit equivalent filter in microstrip.

In microwaves, transmission lines replace the lumped LC elements used In traditional circuit design. This program outputs lumped element values based on tables for nth order (1-10) Butterworth (no ripple), Chebyshev (0.5 dB and 3.0 dB ripple). Chebyshev filters have the advantage of a sharper cutoff frequency than Butterworth. Given microstrip impedance values, the program also implements the filter in microstrip.
