The task of this work is to extract a signal radiating from a specific direction in the presence of a jamming signal being transmitted at same frequency.
There are four cases in the first case transmitter and jammer are in different directions and are at equal range from receiver but the jammer is switched off that is there is no interference signal. In the second case the transmitter and jammer are in different directions but at equal range from the receiver. In the third case the transmitter and jammer are in the same direction but at different ranges from the receiver. In the last case simulation is done when the transmitter and jammer are very close to each other and at equal ranges. LMS (Least mean squares) is used as adaptive beamformer which consists of a linear array of four uniformly spaced sensors.
All of these cases can be simulated easily by changing some parameters.
