I'm a Senior Application Engineer at MathWorks. My addiction to MATLAB got me this job at MathWorks. I love showing MATLAB, talking about MATLAB, and thinking about how to make MATLAB an even better tool. I like to be outside. But if I'm inside, I like to be using MATLAB. I'm an Application Support Engineer at MathWorks and civil/structural engineer by education. Some Interests: -Image Processing, specifically 3d images (CT, mri) -All things graphics -Optimization: both of code and objective functions -Finite Element Analysis The two things I want to improve on most are regular expressions and OOP.

I'm a biomedical engineer by training, but I love MATLAB and have worked as a Principal Application Engineer for MathWorks since 2005. I also co-write the Pick of the Week blog, with my friend Jiro.
