The FIFO bin read block in xPC Target 2.7.2 (R14SP2) does not create an additional input port when I select the enable input option on the mask.

This bug has been fixed in Release 14 Service Pack 3 (R14SP3). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
There is a bug in xPC Target 2.7.2 (R14SP2) that prevents an additional input port from being created for the FIFO bin read block when the "Enable input" box is checked in the FIFO bin read block. If this checkbox is selected, the block might have unpredictable behavior. This is because although the second port is not there, input is still taken from it. For correct operation, ensure that this box is unchecked.
To work around this issue, place the FIFO bin read block inside an enabled subsystem and manage the block from this subsystem. The operation will be the same as if the additional input port was enabled.
