Can I use the Nonlinear Control Design Blockset with a model that has a fixed-step solver?

The optimizer does not seem to work when using the Nonlinear Control Design Blockset with a fixed-step solver. No graph is drawn in the optimizer window.

The Nonlinear optimization does not work quite as expected when you use a fixed-step solver for the model. Our development staff is aware of this problem and is looking into addressing it in a future release.

This bug has been fixed for Release 14 (R14). For previous releases, please read below for any possible workarounds:

The Nonlinear optimization does not work quite as expected when you use a fixed-step solver for the model.

As a workaround, to ensure that the optimizer works, select a Discretization interval in the Optimizer window (Optimization ->Parameters) equal to the fixed-step size.
