Why does operations such as resizing a cell or inserting a row in an Excel sheet does not move the Simulink requirement link appropriately in Simulink Verification and Validation?

When I insert a row in between two requirement cells or resize an cell with a requirement, the Simulink requirement link icon does not move appropriately.

The reason for this behavior is that the Embedded Control objects (like the Simulink requirement icon) in Microsoft Excel are not 'tied' to the cell but instead located by the absolute canvas position. However once a requirement defined in a cell is linked to a Simulink block, Simulink identifies this cell as a unique 'named cell' and operations like row insertion, resizing of the cell would not affect this in any way. But the problem is with the appearance of the icon on the Excel sheet that does not move with the cell but stays at an absolute position.
A workaround for such situations is to "move" the icon back to its appropriate position using the Design mode in the Control Toolbox toolbar in Excel. This toolbar can be made visible using the View menu -> Toolbars -> Control Toolbox.
In Office 2007 the Control toolbox is no longer available. Instead the Design mode available in the Developer tab of the Ribbon can be used to move and delete the ActiveX icons. If the Developer tab is not visible in the Ribbon, make sure the appropriate option to display the Developer tab is checked under Excel Options (accessed from the MS Office button).
