Hello I have a lot of question so I explain them step by step, I read a thesis,it's title is "Model-Aided diagnosis for high voltage circuit breakers",by Michael Stanek, but some of it's blocks are not clear, and to simulate them it is necessary to have them, this model consist of multiple subsystems and each subsystem has multiple blocks,I write some of subsystems which have some blocks which are not clear: hydraulic cylinder:
- bounce:what is the bounce function?inner components or inner commands of it,are not clear!!!
- end position damping:what are the inner commands of this function?
- valve side pressure:what is the duty of this function?and why it does not have any function in it?
- steady position:why it does not have any function in it?

Is the bounce function modeling the effect of bounce, or is it acting as a de-bouncer?

hello dear Walter, thanks for your answer,I do not know I mean
when he ,the author, produce the hydraulic cylinder he did not bring any information about "bounce" function and other items that I asked, I wonder if you might be able to help me, for more information please look at this:
