Why does printing the command window in MATLAB 7.0 (R14) freeze my Windows machine?

When I try to print the contents of MATLAB's Command Window, MATLAB hangs, and it takes a long time for the Windows Task Manager to appear.

This bug has been fixed in Release 14 Service Pack 2 (R14SP2). For previous releases, please read below for any possible workarounds:

We have verified that there is a bug in MATLAB 7.0 (R14) in the way that MATLAB handles printing from the Command Window to some printers. This bug has been fixed in MATLAB 7.0.1 (R14SP1).

If you are using a previous version, you may copy and paste the area of the command window that you would like to print on another editor such as the MATLAB Editor, Microsoft Word, Notepad, etc.
