This bug has been fixed for Release 14 (R14). For previous releases, please read below for any possible workarounds:

This problem has been fixed in SimMechanics 2.1.1 (R13SP1). If you are using a previous version, read the following:

This is a bug in SimMechanics 2.1 (R13+) in the way that 'import_physmod ' imports massless couplers from a physical modeling XML file. To work around this issue, try using an alternative to massless couplers in your models.
