Why does the right mouse button not bring up the copy, cut, and paste menu options in the Simulink 5.0 (R13) (and later versions) Mask Editor?

In the Mask Editor window, pressing the right mouse button does not bring up a pop up menu. I expect to see the same pop-up menu as Windows with the copy, cut, and paste options.

This enhancement has been incorporated in Release 14 Service Pack 2 (R14SP2). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:

In MATLAB GUIs, the right mouse button is sometimes used to trigger a callback function. Many times, this callback function results in a pop up menu. For the Mask Editor, the right mouse button does not bring up this typical Windows pop up menu.

As a workaround to copy, cut, and paste, use the Windows commands (Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V, and Ctrl-X) in the Mask Editor GUI.
