Why do I receive a signal mismatch error when I use the Sequence Analyzer (Phasor Type) in SimPowerSystems?

10 views (last 30 days)
I am using the Sequence Analyzer (Phasor Type). When I attempt to simulate the model I get the following error:
Output port complex signal mismatch. If all inputs of the Sum block are real signals,
then the output of the block must be a real signal. All inputs of block
'test_phasors/Sequence Analyzer (Phasor Type)/Zero Seq. Computation/Sum' are real signals.
However, the output port of the block is a complex signal

This bug has been fixed for Release 14 (R14). For previous releases, please read below for any possible workarounds:
The Sequence Analyzer block (Phasor Type) is only valid in a Phasor simulation of a model. This can be set by using the powergui block found in the main SimPowerSystem folder in the Simulink Library Browser. If you want to keep the model as a Continuous model, you need to use the 3-Phase Sequence Analyzer block found in the Measurements library under the Extra Library of SimPowerSystems Blockset.
