Is it possible to use the OPC Toolbox to access historical data in MATLAB?

Using the OPC Toolbox, I am able to connect with an Historical Data Access (HDA) 1.1 server and acquire current data. I would like to use the OPC Toolbox to access historical data too.

Prior to R2011a, OPC Toolbox does not support Historical Data Access (HDA).

If you are unable to upgrade to OPC Toolbox R2011a, you can access historical data through Structured Query Language (SQL) servers using the Database Toolbox. For more information, refer to the documentation associated with Database Toolbox, accessed by typing

doc database

at the MATLAB prompt.
