I am having trouble loading .mat files that were within a zip file that I downloaded from a public internet site. I get an error that says the file may be corrupt. I have a 32 bit machine, but he files might have been created on a 64 bit machine. Does this matter? Could it be that the files were not transferred in binary mode prior to be being zipped? Thanks, Mike

With 32 bits or 64 bits, you get the same mat file. Maybe your file is not completely downloaded or is really corrupt, try to download it again.
