Features Extraction for Face Images

Hello guys... I've question and hopefully I can get the answer, I'm doing a project on face recognition and I wonder if there is a data set of features that already extracted form a specific face samples. Coz I interest about only the recognition part and I'm trying to develop an algorithm for face recognition so the extracted feature will be just the input data for me ... Thank you in advance

This has been an increasingly active field of research. Lot of articles there, and, of course, each author thinks his work is the best, or at least an improvement in some regard.
