Axis labels disappear when "saved as pictures" in MATLAB 2013a

Hi there,

I'm using 2013a and surf plot. In the interactive plot, after I rotated the figure and adjusted axis labels, and tried to save the plot as .PNG or .JPG, the axis labels disappeared in the picture.

I did some experiment: if I did not adjust axis labels and saved the plot, they would appear in the saved picture. But as long as I draged them and saved them, they disappeared in the saved picture.

How to walk around or fix this problem?

Besides, My java version is an older one (older than Java 7). Does this matter?

How are you adjusting the axis labels?

In the test you do without adjusting the axis labels, are you still rotating the figure?

I simply grab and move the labels around (just a little bit).

In the test without touching labels, I rotated the figure.
