Can i use the tool of BER when the Rx side have half (1/2) rate of Tx side in simulink models? and how?

Can i use the tool of BER when the Rx side have half (1/2) rate of Tx side in simulink models? and how? i got this problem when i use alamouti for 2*2 MIMO-OFDM system.
