How can I generate a false image in which separate components of the map are identified using individual colours?

I have generated a map of a cell (80*80) consisting of 6400 spectra. I have been able to separate the data-set in 7 distinct components (ie, DNA, Lipids etc), what I now want to do is associate each component with a different colour then generate a map which shows each components spacial distribution throughout the cell. I have been attempting to resolve this issue for sometime now with little success, so any help would be much appreciated.
