best method to integrate matlab with c#

I am building application which needs high response time in real time environment. I know there are three methods to integrate with matlab from c#.

MATLAB Engine using via COM automation .NET Assembly created in MATLAB using Builder for .NET C Shared library created in MATLAB using Compiler Can anyone please help me to figure which one is best in terms of speed (execution time)? It will be very handy to know the pros and cons of each method as well. Any comment about the security of the methods will also be appreciated.
