How to measure force in SimMechanics second generation?

2 views (last 30 days)
Hi
I have a model in SimMechanics second generation. I want to measure forces coming on a link . Anybody can suggest me how can I do that. This option is there in first generation but in second generation this option is not there. Is there any alternate solution for this?
Thanks

This is not directly possible in R2013a. We are working on that for a future release.
As a workaround, you can actuate the degree of freedom using a stiff spring and damper. With appropriate stiffness and damping, the deformation will be small and you will be able to know the force/torque applied.

Hi
Is it possible in R2014a? I want to simulate a cube fall on the ground with contact and friction forces (First test for an Project).
Thanks
