Why is OutputFcn, etc... not available in LINPROG?

It seems like diagnostic options like OutputFcn and PlotFcn are crucial for any solver in the Optimization Toolbox. They also allow you to specify your own stopping criteria. Why do some solvers (e.g., LINPROG) not have them?
