How can I modify the Y-axis of an existing plot in a .fig file?

18 views (last 30 days)
I have spent a fair amount of time constructing a .fig file, and I need to make one change, but I'm not sure how to do it.
I plotted on my Y axis in terms of volts, but I want to change it to millivolts.
I can easily change the ylabel, but I'm unsure how to multiply the numbers in the plot by 1000.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mark

Use get(fig_no,'children') to identify all of the items on the fig, inlcuding the axes
Use get(axis_no,'children') to identify the various plots etc.,
Use get(plot_no) to get the full list of parameters of each plot, and for the actual plots, you should see a field called "YData", once you've ID'd each plot,
set(plot_no,'YData',1000*get(plot_no,'YData'))

Awesome, that save me a lot of time, and I learned a few tricks from what you supplied.
