Hi, can anybody help me, i need to segment a 4*4 block image into regions using the edge information and then generate the depth map using initial depth hypothesis and then apply cross bilateral filter and finally do DIBR to produce a 3D image

I have no idea where to start from, i havent used MATLAB tha much and specially never in the field of image processing, its given to me as a project, if someone can help, it would really be appreciated
