Why are my Simulink graphics looking so bad?

Asked by Michael Nauheimer on 16 May 2013

I have a problem with simulink looking like this when I try to use it. It's quite annoying and I don't know what causes it. I'm using it with Linux Mint 14. Have anyone encountered this problem before and found a way to solve it? http://kom.aau.dk/~mnauhe10/simulink_wth.png

Kind regards

Michael

Have you tried restarting Simulink? That looks like a typical problem that will be resolved by restaring the program.

It happens every time I start simulink, so I guess that this won't make any sense :)

A guess: try giving the command

opengl software

and seeing if that helps. If it does, you have a glitch in your OpenGL drivers.

I tried that, but it didn't help, so I still don't know what to do. I guess I just have to live with it then, even though it is pretty annoying and even worse than in the picture that I uploaded. But thank you for trying to help.
