how can i connect a model with a continuous powergui to a model with a discrete powergui?

Hi,

Im working on a ac/dc circuit. I have built most of the circuit with a discrete powergui block. However i need a build a buck converter. I have already built it seperately and it works in the continuous powergui mode. how do i put these two circuits together even though they are operating in different modes? anyhelp would be much appreciated.
