how can I replace a block?

I created a library (. Lib). I want to replace a block in my model with that of my library. How can we replace by a script? thank you

I need to replace a block that is contained in my own library not in simulink library

Achraf: Does it not work if you make sure that your library is loaded (use load_system) and use the full path to the new block with replace_block? Could you please provide the exact syntax that you're using?
