intepretation of filtered, sample based vectors

Hello,

a digitally modulated signal (2x1 vector) is filtered by a raised cosine filter and is converted to a sample based 4x1 vector because of 2x upsampling. My question is, if this 4x1 vector is intepreted as one point or four points.

I think is should be four points because a 4x1 sample based vector is regarded as 4 sample points of a channel. Is it correct?
