Plotting graphs from audio data of a video

Hi,

I would like to know how can I plot graphs from the audio data of video that I have played in WMP GUI in matlab.

How can I get the audio data from the video?

It would have to be ActiveX if it can be done at all.

The only tool MATLAB has that can read both audio and video is part of the Computer Vision Toolbox.

How do I get the audio data from the video that I play in realtime?

ActiveX would mean for the plots or the video? I am playing the video with the ActiveX controls.
