Can I download different OS versions under one student license?

I already contacted our local reseller through Mathworks customer support forms, but they replied that they cannot help me, because this kind of license and related information is available only through Mathworks. I copy my original message/question below:

I plan to purchase a standalone student license. I understand that I can use this license on no more than two computers simultaneously, but I did not find any information for the following:

- My two computers on which I want to install the software are a Mac and a Windows PC. Can I download different versions of the software (depending on the OS) and install them, under the same student license?

Yes, that is valid for the Student Version. The Student Version is a right to use on multiple systems, not a right to use on multiple systems of the same operating system.

Thank you, I also found out that I can download installation files for both windows and mac under the same license, so I can install my student license on both mac osx and win 7.
