Can you import Images as 2d Boundaries for the PDE tool?

Hi,
I would like to import an imagine in any format (bmp, jpg, pdf, etc...) into the PDE solver tool then generate a mesh from and solve some equations in this boundary.
I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to do this?
Any help would be appreciated.
