xPC Target: Signal labels in referenced models are not available

1 view (last 30 days)
Hello guys!
When compiling the Simulink model containing a referenced model, only signal lables of parent model are provided through the command line and the xPC API. The *bio.m-file does also contain only the parent's information about signals. I can read the signals by block names (paths), but not by labels. Even defining the signals as Simulink.Signal and setting it in the signal properties dialog does not help.
Am I missing some configuration tricks or is it just not possible? If not possible, why not?

I guess the Mathworks user community isn't very active. National Instruments is much better. Does Mathworks Support monitor and answer these questions?
Anyhoo, I also have this issue. I also tried propagating all signal labels from the reference model as configured in the reference model dialog pane, but no effect. Just thought I'd share <<sigh>>

You may want to contact MathWorks Support directly (assuming you have a license on maintenance) if you do not receive a response on the user community. There may not be anyone active on the user community with expertise in this area.
