Hi Guys, recently something on my computer must have changed because I have been able to previously compile stateflow based simulations properly. However now I am getting a Make Error on Simulink..
Making simulation target "Test2_sfun", ...
The system cannot find the path specified. The system cannot find the path specified. 'Test2_sfun.bat' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Any help would be great!

Try running "mex -setup", select a supported compiler and retry.

Yeah install your c++ compiler. Even I had the same problem in Matlab 2012a. I referred to Matlab for compatible compilers for this particular version. And installed microsoft SDK 7.1 with Visual Studio 10.0. Then after installation, type mex-setup in command window. Matlab will look for all the compilers in your system. and will get in sync with your Matlab.
If u aint looking for all this pain, install a 32 bit Matlab software and it comes wid in-bulit compilers.
Cheers!!
