I'm not sure what your question is. It seems like a mathematical expression. Are you asking how to add two numbers and compute 70% of the result??

I think it is no question at all. It is a statement. The result is (20 - 4)*0.7 = 11.2
Who is going to decide if this is "spam"?

Ok, but since this is your homework assignment, I'll ask you to decode the result from a ternary (base 3 representation.) Assuming I got the conversion right, it should be
102.0121012101...
Why you are asking for the answer to a basic arithmetic problem in terms of MATLAB is beyond me, but what am I to say?
