How does SimRF circuit-envelope simulation envrionment model noise in time-domain?

1 view (last 30 days)
Hello,
After searching the help and online manual, I found that noise modeling in SimRF circuit-envelope simulation environment are basically done by calculating the equivalent noise temperature.
However, the link from the noise temperature to the time-domain signal is unclear. Does anyone know how SimRF converts noise parameters (such as noise temperature, noise figure in amplifier and mixer blocks, resistance values for resistors) to a noisy time-domain waveform?
Thank you very much.
