How to implement a hybrid model in MPC toolbox?

Dear All
I wonder how to implement a hybrid model consisting of (i) physical part and (ii) an adaptive part in MPC toolbox controller? Please share your ideas and experiences.
I also wonder in MPC toolbox when we convert an ARX or ARMAX model (estimated via System Identification Toolbox) into LTI state-space structure, what is the loss of information/model accuracy, if any?
