Trying to simulate force controller in sim hydraulics

3 views (last 30 days)
Hello, I have been trying to design a force controller circuit in simhydraulics, which i would later connect to simmechanics model to make the system function as a active suspension system. I have already designed my controller in simulink for my linearised model and works well with my non linear model as well. But when i include the controller in the simhydraulics model it shows very strange results and also when the piston reaches the end stroke, the contact damping and stifness that is included in the cylinder to limit the stroke influences the output (In the force sensor it shows a negative force of the same magnitude as hard stop properties by end of the stroke).
I would like to know if any special considerations have to be done while implementing the force controller. My feedback structure is similar to a velocity controller like in your demo model but for the controller. It would be great if i get a quick response
Thanks in Advance
