ylabel on both sides using imshow

Hello,

my apologies if this has been answered already. I have searched, and I have not found an answer that works for me. I need to place labels on both vertical sides of an image I plot via imshow(). I've tried solutions I have found on-line but they either distort the image or remove one of the vertical labels. Any help would be appreciated
