Is it possible to access and control GardaSoft Vision PP500 LED Lightning Controller via MATLAB?

We are, as a project group, trying to access GardaSoft Vision PP500 LED Lightning Controller using MATLAB? Has anyone have an experience on this device? Thanks and Kind regards...

Hi Tugrul,

First of all I presume you have a PP520 controller with Ethernet. PP500 doesn't have Ethernet.

There isn't specific support for Matlab for our controllers. However you can send simple TCP or UDP packets to the controller with text commands which are very easy to set up. These are described in the user manual.

Alternatively we've worked closely with Matlab in the past to make sure that the GigE Vision interface protocol works well. I don't know how Matlab presents Gige Vision devices in their interface, but you should be able to use that.
