I have installed the Simlink utility tool on my computer. I am running Windows 7, Matlab 2010a and Solidworks 2011. When trying to link the utility by typing "smlink_linksw" into the command window, I obtain the error: The module "C:\MATLAB\R2010a\bin\win32\cl_sldwks2sm.dll" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005.
Is this a compatibility issue between the Simlink utility and/or Windows 7? Could it be a permissions issue on my computer?
Thanks, Mike

This page suggests that admin privileges are needed when running DllRegisterServer. If you are already logged in as admin, I would recommend starting MATLAB with "Run as Administrator" the first time that you run the "smlink_linksw" command. Hopefully, DllRegisterServer will not need to be run on subsequent calls.
