How to convert .mat file into .set file? How to load multiple data in EEGLAB toolbox?

Hello Everyone
I have .mat files of many subjects (50+) (each subject has one .mat data file) and i noticed that converting my dataset into .set file(s) will make my usage of toolbox for analyses in EEGLAB toolbox "faster". I am able to do the analyses with .mat files one by one, but it seems with .set file it will be easier to complete them.
So my questions:
  1. Is it possible to convert .mat into .set? How?
  2. Will the .set file include all 50 of my subjects data, or one.set file for one .mat file?
  3. OR is it possible to load multiple .mat files to perform same analyses with same parameters in EEGLAB toolbox?
I am using latest version of EEGLAB and using MATLAB R2013b which is compatible with EEGLAB. Link to EEGLAB toolbox: https://sccn.ucsd.edu/eeglab/EEGLAB
Kind Regards,
Ekin
