How to manipulate Flash .exe in Simulink?

Hi, I have a small application written with ActionScript3 that records microphone activity and saves it to a .waw file. I want to build a Simulink model that accesses this app and starts/stop the recording for me..... the model is supposed to mimic a physical start/stop button. The app will already be up and running.

Can anyone tell me if there are any tutorials that can teach me how to manipulate flash in Simulink??

I'm fairly new to Simulink, any help would be much appreciated.
