Is there a LaTeX interpreter integrated into the MATLAB Answers? If not, is it scheduled? It would be great.

Yes, there is a LaTeX interpreter integrated into the MATLAB Answers and has Ctrl+Shift+L keyboard shortcut.

The LaTeX editor is slightly hidden: it is labeled with the sigma and generally referred to in the Answers documentation as 'equations'.
You can find the complete controls and a sandbox here.
Edit:
The keyboard shortcut doesn't seem to work for me. Neither ctrl+alt+G, nor the one @Adria de Juan Garcia mentioned. Luckily the button is right there on the lint. (I'm on Windows+Chrome, other browsers/OSes might work)

Thanks, Ctrl+Shift+L works for me on Firefox under Ubuntu 18.04.
