I have an excel sheet from which I am reading the data using xlsread function. But it stores the output in a matrix. I want the output in a vector. Is there any way to do it directly. Or else how to convert the matrix thus obtained into a vector?
thank you, Debanjan

xlsread can read a specific range so in case your range is a column you get a column array.

Conversion from matrix to vector is:
>> x = x(:);
